Do I need to be local in Oregon?
No! Care is virtual and available to people nationwide. Dr. Kelsey can only diagnose and prescribe treatments in the state of Oregon. Outside of Oregon, she works with clients as a Health Coach & Compassionate Inquiry informed provider.Will labs be ordered?
Labs are recommended based on your presentation, but not required for every person. If you have had labs done in the last 6 months, Dr. Kelsey can provide education on these results.Do you accept insurance?
Rooted is an out-of-pocket investment. HSA and FSA are accepted.Can I do this if I’ve done functional work before?
Absolutely! This is deeper than troubleshooting labs. It’s about creating physiological regulation and resilience. We weave together functional medicine AND somatic support for deep healing.
Virtual sessions are available to clients nationwide. In person visits available in Oregon City, OR.
If you reside outside of Oregon, I’ll be working with you in a health coaching role, offering the same root-cause approach and personalized care, just without medical diagnosis.

Over the past decade, I’ve refined a process that helps my patients go from confused and exhausted to clear, connected, and thriving. This framework often guides our work together:
Phase 1 — Stabilize
We begin with paving the road ahead with a comprehensive intake + mapping session. We typically focus on clear understanding of hormone + stress patterns, foundational nervous system regulation practice and a personalized protocol to support your individual physiology.
This phase creates capacity — the foundation for real change.
Phase 2 — Regulate
Once your system feels safe enough we refine hormone and digestive function and layer in deeper healing modalities like Compassionate Inquiry work (when appropriate). We work to strengthen emotional regulation circuits and support balance via somatic practices.
This is where symptoms begin to shift.
Phase 3 — Integrate
You’ve built momentum and healing is happening. Now we stabilize moving forward with nourishing habits that are sustainable, building nervous system resilience, rhythm work + future planning and create a personalized long-term strategy.
